We are looking for a full-time Ophthalmic Technician for a small, but busy medical subspecialty office. Ophthalmic/Optical experience is preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. Fluency in both English and Spanish is a plus. We will train the right candidate with appropriate subspecialty skills. These skills will enable the Ophthalmic Technician to be a valuable member of our team, designed to give optimal care to our patients.

Basic duties include:

Patient workups, obtaining patient medical histories and performing specialized diagnostic testing.

Assist with patient care, education, and flow of clinic

Set up and stock exam rooms daily

Obtains competency and proficiency with electronic medical records system

Explains procedures to patient and obtains signed consent forms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
